As some have pointed out, refractions did a demo on how to use the
google API to find services. Essentially all you need to do is submit a
query such as,

 

allinurl: "request=getcapabilities" "service=wcs"

 

Obviously you can replace WCS depending on what type of service you are
looking for. Since there is usually no direct links to the capabilities
document, most services on google are added via the http referrer or
otherwise by a direct link.
