[wms-dev] WMS/WFS with global or regional coverage?

Thanks. I tried Mapdex, a lot of good stuff and a lot of dead Capabilities. I
suppose what I'm looking for is the group opinion on something like the best
"authoritative" WMS Atlas (Atlases?) for Canada, United States, Europe,
Australia, etc. with solid base maps.

I have the standard ones - NASA JPL and Blue Marble Next Generation,
Geography Network, Terraservice, CubeWerx Foundation, US and Canada National Atlas,
CGDI WMSs, SIDP, JRC, ICEDS, NRL. Powerful stuff.

But I have nothing for India, Africa, China, Middle East, most of Asia, South
America, well pretty much the whole world :(

I tried geodata.gov and couldn't figure out how to find WMS. I do have
Google Maps Satellite though :)

I won't even talk about WFS. I've found only one with global GML coverage -
CubeWerx.

Regards,
Jeff

Mapdex is more complete, but:
