[georss] W3C Incubator Group Update

Noticed today that the W3C Geospatial Incubator Group wrapped up a couple months ago, and published a vocabulary and ontology as part of its final report.

Could we get an overview (perhaps on the blog) of how the XG proceeded and the importance of the results and the future of the work at the W3C?
It seems significant to me that now two standards bodies have essentially endorsed our work on GeoRSS.
