[georss] GeoRSS Feeds with multiple geometry types

1) sorry cant help, as you say probably not very common.

2) This feed updates once an hour: (only GeoRSS simple)
http://www.geograph.org.uk/feed/recent.rss
(well it generated as needed then cached for 1hour, but want to reduce
it anyway so let me know if you do want to try it - during UK
day/evenings should easily by updated very 15 minutes if not more)
