[XiakeWiki Group]

XiakeWiki (http://www.xiakewiki.org) is a geo-enabled Wiki project
that focuses on geographic related information and knowledge.
Different with many existing map-based Wiki applications (e.g.
WikiMapia, VeniVidiWiki), which embed Wiki content into maps,
XiakeWiki enables geo-marks and maps to be embedded into Wiki content.

The current XiakeWiki implementation includes:

~ JSPWiki syntax based Wiki markups
~ Embed geomarks and Google maps in Wiki content
~ GeoRSS support - view recent update in GeoRSS readers, such as Google Map
~ Output individual XiakeWiki pages as KML
~ KMZ download, browse XiakeWiki in Google Earth
~ English and Chinese language support.


XiakeWiki is still in a very early stage, any
suggestions/contributions are very much appreciated.
