[georss] Simultaneous use of multiple SRS in a georss gml instance

I'm a georss newbie.

Am trying to figure out if it is possible to gracefully support
simultaneous use of two SRS's for the same point (or other type), in the
same instance document. A project we advise www.exchangenetwork.net has
standardized (for the most part) on lat/long like georss, but there are
some situations where information publishers want to also provide one
additional alternative SRS (like state plane), along with the standard
lat/long, because it is the SRS "of record". We intend to recommend
adoption of georss as standard format for common simple geo information
in our xml documents/services, with lat/long as default, but some
homegrown xml schema currently in use, use a variety of formats for geo
data, including some that allow two different SRS for a single point,
and this is functionality we want to maintain if we can.

I don't see any way of doing this without having two "where" elements,
for each feature, which seems awkward.

Have just started looking at this but any thoughts would be appreciated.
