If that's the goal, the name (and binding to RSS) is a bit of a 
distraction. However it is also marketing genius in other ways!

I hope this valuable piece of work can be kept at arms length from RSS, 
since Atom will eventually eat RSS. Hoping also an RDF representation 
remains feasible, ... shouldn't be a giant piece of work, and wish I had 
more time to help, but sadly not. RSS in some ways is just a way of 
saying "simple XML markup that is posted in the Web and typically 
changes a lot". But really, if the idea of subscribing to a document in 
an RSS(/Atom) newsreader doesn't make much sense ... then that's a sign 
that maybe the app is best not conceptualised as RSS.

Congrats on the adoption of GeoRSS btw, I'm not complaining at all :)
