Hi,

 

It would be helpful if your group could define the target of GeoRSS.  I
assume it is either:

 

1.    Packing geographic information into RSS to assist in describing
news events.

2.    Describing geographically news events and documents independent of
RSS.

 

If it is 1., then I would suggest we try to make use of GML/KML as much
as possible.

 

If it is 2., then I would suggest we try to focus on the requirements of
that task - what makes it different from other tasks? How do we separate
(or do we) communicating geographic information or geographic context
from the presentation of geographic information.

 

Seems like a dumb question I know - but what is the objective?
