[georss] GeoRSS Ad Hoc session in Ottawa

Mikel,

I've entered some notes into #eogeo, but here were they are for the
list:

GeoRSS mime type? RSS type should be sufficient? Is this enough cue
for a browser-based RSS reader

Aggregation? WFS-S or OPS-B REST services
OPS lets you register subscriptions in WFS-S form

HTTP header for extent? Sitemap elements? Metatag properties!
Practice of geotagging as simple step in “Dreamweaver” type Web page
development environments.

Nesting of one feed in an entry of another, e.g. using <atom:link
rel="detailFeed"../>

Specify “well-known” values for other feed (e.g. Atom) elements.

Geo:when as the time validity of the GeoRSS “feature”

Standard GeoRSS entry for a GML feature?

As Allan noted, more interest in figuring out GeoRSS practice than in
adding lots of new features. Especially there seemed to be support
for a stable GeoRSS Simple with practices refined to promote
widespread use. Good news, I think.
