In the spirit of clarification, I believe you're right, and it might be nice
to have this example in there as something that's forbidden in Simple. In
Pro/GML, however, this is permitted by explicitly specifying what you're
doing, e.g.:
<gml:LineString>
   <gml:posList cs="|" decimal="," ts=" ">
      354554,28|1073157,38 354790,53|1075794,63...
   </gml:posList>
</gml:LineString>
