We have planned a special session for the AppGeMa WG at the IAG/AIG
International Conference on Geomorphology to be held in Melbourne
(Australia) 6-11 July 2009.<br>

The session will be chaired by Colin Pain (Geoscience Australia,
Camberra), Martin Stokes (University of Plymouth, UK), and Paolo Paron
(FAO Somalia, Nairobi, Kenya). The session is open to poster and oral
presentations, with a limit of one oral presentation per author.
Instructions for authors will be available shortly.<br>

Arrangements for publication of session outputs are currently being
explored and details will be made available shortly. A field trip, to
be organized by Colin Pain, will visit the Murray Basin, Victoria/New
South Wales.<br>
<br>
We hope that this AppGema session will attract presentations from
geomorphologists involved in mapping from a variety of sectors:
academic, governmental, non-governmental and private.<br>
<br>
We would like therefore to invite you to present your work at this
session and to attend the related field trip.<br>
<br>
