[appgema] 1st meeting of IAG/AIG AppGeMa Working Group

Dear Colleagues,

 

We would like to invite you to the 1st meeting of IAG/AIG AppGeMa (Applied
Geomorphological Mapping) Working Group. This will be held in concomitance
with the Annual Conference of the British Society of Geomorphology
(http://www.geomorphology.org.uk/) at the University of Birmingham. The
meeting will take place during the lunch break on the Thursday 5th of July.
Final rooming will be confirmed closer to the meeting date.

 

The general Agenda for the meeting will touch upon the following:

 

1. Introduction: presentation of participants and of the Group

2. Primary outputs of the Group

3. Need for sponsorship (vis a vis achievement of outputs)

4. Report from the Malaysia Meeting (AppGeMa informal meeting)

5. Brainstorming/discussion on outputs, time-scheduling, and
responsibilities

6. Scheduling of the activities

7. Planning of the next meeting to be held in Romania, September 2008

8. AOB 

 

Mike Smith (Vice-Chair of the WG) will be chairing the meeting. Please
